Book of Merl

Maybe I shouldn’t making fun of religion in these days of month, but here’s another one from Scott McCloud’s link: Daniel Merlin Goodbrey. He’s one of the forerunner in web-comic experiment, and he just three days away from closing-in on his masterpiece. In the spirit of frivolity self-grandeur, he decided to start his own religion: MERLism, a religion for the modern times.

The Book of Merl is a work in progress for the whole month of this October updated daily in his website. By the end of the month, we will have the completed psalms of MERLism™ (a religion for the modern times), a thirty-one tenets for us, the would be convert, to seriously consider.

MERLism and the ‘a religion for the modern times’ tagline are registered trademarks of Daniel Merlin Goodbrey. Kasarung Jr. receive neither monetary reward nor any afterlife benefits for this, silly endorsement. At least this god will be a better god than the iGod (another link from Anne Arkham).
